This is a specially designed neighborhood with its own living spaces and hallways. Doors have coded entry and exit to help keep residents free of harm.
Specially Trained Team
Our caregivers are trained to work with residents with Alzheimer's, dementia and impaired cognition.
Cozy Neighborhood
This smaller section of our personal care provides residents with access to common areas and rooms while keeping them safe.

Delicious, Nutritious Meals

Alzheimer's and related dementias can change how a person experiences food, making them less likely to eat or avoidant to certain foods or textures.

Our culinary team and caregivers work to cater to each resident's preferences while providing them delicious and nutritious meals. The team monitors each resident's consumption to ensure they are eating healthy meals. While our menu changes often, we do keep our residents informed about their upcoming meals.

This sample menu gives you an idea of the types of meals you may get while at Beechwood Court Memory Care. In addition to our planned menus, we also offer an always available menu of items. Some menu items are adjusted or replaced for therapeutic or texture-altered diets. We invite you to schedule a tour and ask if you can have a meal while you are with us!

Breakfast

Pancakes and sausage links
Choice of hot or cold cereal
Assorted juices, milk or other beverage

Lunch

Fish of the day, served with roasted sweet potatoes and sautéed cabbage and dinner rolls w/margarine
Fruit shortcake

Alternate main: Sliced roast turkey

Dinner

Potato bacon soup
Crispy chicken strip salad, served with dinner roll w/margarine
Lemon bar

Alternate main: Chicago-style hot dog, served with maraconi salad

Chicken bacon penne pasta, served with sauteed zucchini & onion and garlic bread
Glazed lemon cake

Alternate main: Baked fish with garlic butter, served with garden blend rice

Dinner

Herb roasted pork loin, served with baked potato w/sour cream & margarine and creamed peas
Dinner roll w/margarine
Fresh fruit cup

Alternate main: Beef pepper steak

Polish sausage w/peppers and onions, served with Pierogies and dinner roll w/margarine
Carnival cookie

Alternate main: Greek marinated chicken

Engaging Activities

Residents in the Memory Care Neighborhood enjoy a variety of activities and social events designed to promote mental, physical and emotional well-being. Our calendar of events is customized for residents with Alzheimer's and related dementias and we work to encourage involvement with activities.

Our activities calendar is prepared a month at a time and provided to residents ahead of time so they can plan which events to attend. Your tour may coincide with a planned activity, or you can ask to speak with our activity director during your tour.
