Memory Care

The Memory Care Unit provides additional personal care with the patience and love needed for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory problems. The Beechwood Court Memory Care Unit is supervised 24 hours a day in a specially designed wing featuring secure entrances and exits. The Unit provides common areas, hallways, and rooms that are uncluttered and easy to navigate, increasing the ease of resident use for familiarity.

While providing assistance with activities of daily living, the highly trained, friendly staff at Beechwood Court are specially trained to care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s and impaired cognition.

The wandering behavior that happens with Alzheimer’s and dementia is minimized in the secure wing with 24-hour supervision, familiar areas, and key-coded ingress and egress. Beechwood Court makes every effort to keep residents in an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness while keeping them free of harm.
